Dear PRO-VE Conference participant,

We hope that you, your family, colleagues and friends are safe and healthy during these challenging times.
In the context of the current health crisis and keeping in mind the safety of all participants, the PRO-VE 2020 that was initially planned to be held in Valencia on 14-16 September 2020,  will be postponed to the end November 2020 (exact date to be confirmed).
The PRO-VE community is founded on the networking activities. We therefore would like to maintain the possibility to have a conference with physical presence. However, we are also founded on the principle of virtuality, and when considering that some participants may not be able to attend the Conference in Valencia due to the COVID-19 constraints, we would like to consider both physical and virtual participation at PRO-VE 2020.

As a last resort, and in case the evolution of this pandemic does not allow a conference with physical presence at all, we  will have a virtual event via a web platform.
The conference book will be provided to the participants in either case.
We are keen to ensure that the exchange of knowledge, expertise, best practices, and creation of collaboration opportunities for the members of the PRO-VE community will continue, despite the current challenges.

According to the postponement plan of the conference, we have opened a second phase for paper submission with a final deadline of 30 June 2020.

We are thankful for your trust and support to PRO-VE, and we are looking forward to meeting you, either physically or virtually, soon.

Best regards,
PRO-VE 2020 Organizers

However, prospective authors should submit a short abstract to the conference in advance, in order to check if the proposed topic fits within the conference scope.
